Grace Song

Grace Song is the founder and director of Arkspace Architects. With over two decades of experience, she has cultivated a reputation for delivering residential and commercial projects that seamlessly blend functionality with aesthetic appeal.

  • Grace's architectural journey commenced with a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Queensland in 1997. She honed her skills at esteemed firms such as Sunland Group, Suters Architects (now DWP), and Dimitriou Architects & Interior Designers (DM2 Architecture), contributing to a diverse portfolio encompassing residential, commercial, and institutional projects.

    In 2013, Grace established Arkspace Architects, an award-winning firm renowned for its client-centric approach and meticulous attention to detail. The studio specialises in new home designs, renovations, granny flats, and NDIS-compliant projects, offering flexible staging and fixed-fee services to accommodate varied client needs.

    Grace's innovative work has been featured in publications such as realestate.com.au and Courier Mail highlighting her contributions to modern granny flat designs that enhance property value and adapt to contemporary living needs.

Sarah Hornick

We’re thrilled to announce that Sarah Hornick, a highly regarded heritage architect over 25 years of experience and dear friend of Grace, is joining the Arkspace Architects team!

  • With two decades of experience, Sarah is a second-generation architect whose work has earned numerous awards from top Brisbane firms. She specialises in education, multi-residential development, and bespoke housing, including many stunning heritage restorations. Her creative and thoughtful designs consistently lead to exceptional outcomes.
